The Big Buddha Box features Verticalponics, which is defined as a combination of Superponics and Growing Your Plants Vertically.

The Superponics mix in the Big Buddha Box combines Deep Water Culture, Bubble & Aeroponics, along with Ebb n' Flow for Maximum Root Oxygenation, Safety, and Rapid Fast Growing.  This Verticalponics System will grow your plants 2-5X FASTER, and 2-4X MORE than ANY traditional horizontal light/table type set-up.

The Vertical Trellis is actually used at first to primarily Tie your plants BACK from the light. Then its use is to support your flowering plants until harvest.
